The aim. Assessment of the initial psychological status men with first diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis and study its associations clinical course disease.
 Materials methods. involved 54 tuberculosis. Patients had a dynamic complex clinical, laboratory instrumental examination an assessment according to State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) Beck Depression (BDI).
 Results. evaluating in patients tuberculosis, depressive states varying severity were found 47.05 % patients, moderate state anxiety – 74.51 trait 35.29 %. We revealed levels depression degree bacterial excretion duration intensive phase therapy.
 Conclusions. To assess infiltrative it is advisable use STAI BDI.
 100 cases have disorders predominance absence only half them. More expressed violations (anxiety, depression) identifies who are married steady job.
 In increase associated more excretion, decrease body weight, greater frequency destruction lung tissue, prevalence process by than 2 segments, effectiveness standard therapy prolongation treatment.
